Are You Obsessed With The Right Things?

By Shelly Kramer,

Breast Cancer Campaign, Bottom

I saw this campaign for breast cancer awareness at MediaBistro’s Ads of the World site and was stopped in my tracks. Following a read of Seth Godin’s blog post about interpreting criticism and how successful people rarely allow other people’s lack of imagination or ability to change impact their creativity made it an all around great morning.

And I figured if I enjoyed the campaign, created by DDB, Signapore, that you might, too.

Bottom line, don’t let other people get in your way, have confidence in yourself and trust your gut. More importantly, don’t obsess about stupid stuff. And that confidence should be part of your personal life, too. Quit thinking that your ass is too big, worrying about bad hair days or the fact that you have a stupid zit on your face in spite of the fact that you’re 40 something. Take care of your body; it’s the only one you’ve got. Obsess over the things that matter.

And, because they’re all great, here are the rest of the images in the campaign:

Breast Cancer Campaign, Bad Hair Day Breast Cancer Campaign, Zit

And women, if you’re not doing monthly breast exams, that’s just plain stupid. Start. Now. The people who love you will be glad that you did.
