KC: One Day Left To Nominate For Ingram’s 20 In Their Twenties

By Shelly Kramer,

April 18, 2013
ingram's 20 in their twentiesKansas City, now’s your chance to nominate a deserving young professional for Ingram’s magazine’s annual 20 In Their Twenties feature, which recognizes the promise of young entrepreneurs.

Judging by all the cool entrepreneurial stories that are coming out of Kansas City lately, we have no doubt that there’s no shortage of driven young pros who would make a great addition to Ingram’s annual round-up. And if you know someone who’s tirelessly working to make an impact on the Kansas City business community, this would be the perfect opportunity to give that individual some well-deserved recognition.

Here’s some more information about the info you should consider when selecting a nominee, as included on the nomination application: “We are particularly interested in learning more about your candidate’s entrepreneurial spirit, business enterprise and plans and potential for business growth.”

Have someone in mind? Don’t delay—the nomination deadline is tomorrow (Friday, April 19). You can nominate anyone who’s younger than 30 as of July 1, 2013. Simply fill out the application and have your nominee fill out the accompanying form. You can email completed applications to editorial@ingramsonline.com or fax them to (816) 474-1111.

Kudos to the Ingram’s team for offering local young pros such a cool opportunity for recognition. Aside from being quite the honor, this is what we’d consider a definite resume booster, too. Plus, this year’s recipients will be profiled in an upcoming issue of Ingram’s magazine and on the website so you can send your parents a copy and give your personal brand a little SEO boost!

Best of luck to all of this year’s nominees—we can’t wait to see who wins! We’ll be sure to follow up and share a link to the 2013 20 In Their Twenties honorees.
