It’s no secret that at V3, we like tools that help make social media marketing and analysis better, and things that help us do what we do more efficiently and effectively. And when it comes to tracking impact, gathering stats and reporting, we love those tools even more.
We wrote about Visibli last October, when the platform had been newly released, and we were psyched about the Visibli engagement bar and how it could give your links some extra legs. Now, we’re writing about Visibli because of their analytics, and we think you’ll like that just as much.
The free version of Visibli has three features we really like. And, as with so many tools, you can unlock others by upgrading to a paid account. (Note: the paid versions were not available when we originally signed up so we may have had access to some features that are now no longer available to new, free users)
Cross Promotion of Social Networks
As we’ve written about before, one of our favorite Visibli features is the “Engagement Toolbar.” Once you’ve signed up, you have the ability to customize your Engagement toolbar with a nearly endless assortment of choices. Want to promote your blog? Have people connect with you on FourSquare, LinkedIn, iTunes shows and more? Want to display a coupon or some other call to action? Easy! Just drag the desired icon to your engagement bar and configure with your personalized information. Changing the location of any particular “network” is as easy as dragging and dropping. And by the way, the customer service at Visibli is amazing, so if you get stuck, be sure and let them know–they’re awesome.
Killer (as in Amazing) Stats
Now for the real crack cocaine: the stats. The free version of Visibli provides plenty of information about the tweets you’ve published, as well as your engagement bar stats. Once you’re at your reporting dashboard you can select from any of the following:
- Real time, 14 days, 30 days
- Link clicks
- Engagement Bar clicks
- Re-shared clicks
- Top 5 links
Visibli Links Are Tool And Twitter Agnostic
The last feature that we think is pretty spectacular is that, regardless of the Twitter client or Twitter scheduling tools that you’re using, any links distributed are shown as sent from Visibli. This is because every tweet you publish with a link is processed through Visibli’s server (so the awesome stats described above can be obtained).
Shelly’s friend and a frequent V3 collaborator, Merredith Branscombe of LeapPR introduced us to Visibli many moons ago, and we’re glad she did. We’ve really loved experimenting with the Visibli tool and find that the addition of these stats in our monthly reporting to our clients is pretty impressive.
We can’t think of any other tool with this unique combination of the features but, of course, there are a lot of tools out there. What are you using? We’d love to hear about it. And if you’ve not yet checked out Visibli ….. do it! Here’s a link to their registration page to make it easy for you to check them out.
