Michelle Lamar Named as Parent Ambassador for Healthy Child Healthy World

By Shelly Kramer,

June 5, 2010
Healthy Child Healthy World has named Michelle Lamar as a one of their new Parent Ambassadors.  I wanted to brag a little on my friend Michelle and help spread the word about this organization.

Healthy Child Healthy World (http://healthychild.org) is a non-profit organization that works to help parents protect children from harmful chemicals found in the environment and in the products we use every day.

The organization was created because more than 125 million Americans, especially children, now face a historically unprecedented rise in cancer, autism, asthma, birth defects, ADD/ADHD, and learning and developmental disabilities. Credible scientific evidence increasingly points to environmental hazards and household chemicals as causing and contributing to many of these diseases.

Healthy Child Healthy World has named 21 volunteer Parent Ambassadors and V3’s Michelle Lamar is one of the them.

A recent CNN special, Toxic America investigated the toxins people are exposed to on a daily basis, with a focus on children. Toxic America featured new research linking early exposure to harmful chemicals with obesity, autism, ADHD, lower IQ, sexual reproduction issues, cancer, and more.  It’s really scary.

You can read more about the Parent Ambassadors on this Pitch Engine One Sheet and check out the Healthy Child Healthy World website.
