It’s A Great Day When Your Client Makes it to Idol

Carrie Underwood Performing on Idol

I’ve been blessed by the opportunity to work with many amazing clients. I’m collaborating with a colleague right now, and working with a company called Anthology Gear Wear, makers of leather guitar straps and accessories, and they are a delight to work with.

Brian Griffith, a musician and designer, founded Anthology last year when when he recognized a void in the marketplace and decided to fill it. After a few months of research and development, and lots of time experimenting with design, his high-quality guitar strap designs were rolled out. They quickly attracted the attention of celebrities and well-known guitarists including jazz/fusion guitarist Dean Brown and musician Greg Howe.

Brian is an entrepreneur in the truest sense and is passionate about everything revolving around his brand, his image, the product he produces and the people who get their gear from Anthology. He’s also passionate about marketing his product in a way that makes sense and is a quick learner when it comes to the integration of social media into his marketing mix. He makes us proud!!

Griffith had a conversation recently with Chad Jeffers, singer Carrie Underwood’s guitar player. The conversation naturally turned to guitar straps and the fact that Jeffers was appearing with Underwood on this week’s American Idol finale. Jeffers was psyched about the opportunity to try out an Anthology strap and Griffith wasted no time getting one to him.

And sure enough, Jeffers was wearing the Anthology strap during his Idol performance last night – check it out:

The message here – do what you’re passionate about, always do great work or produce a great product, be tenacious, ask for what you want, never hesitate to reach for the stars and great things can happen. They certainly have for Brian Griffith and Anthology Gear Wear. And for the record, this was Brian’s success — we had nothing to do with making it happen, other than supporting his effort to spread the word about the Idol event. That makes us even more proud of him!! And if you’re a musician and want to check out Anthology’s gear that would be awesome. And if you want to stay up on Brian and the cool things he’s doing with Anthology, find them on Facebook – they love new friends.
