Big Slick Celebrity Poker Tournament: Raise Money, Help Kids

By Michelle Lamar,

May 14, 2010
The Big Slick Celebrity Poker Tournament is a chance to have fun AND give back to Children’s Mercy Hospital. Hometown celebrities Paul Rudd, Jason Sudeikis and Rob Riggle will be hosting the event on June 5.

This is a great way to raise money for one of the finest hospitals in the country for children, Children’s Mercy.

Playing poker, having fun and giving to kids who need it. What’s not to love about this event?

I’ll be talking up the event in coming weeks because I’m a huge fan of Children’s Mercy.  My youngest daughter Kate had emergency surgery last year and the folks at CMH made a scary situation into a positive experience.  My husband and I are forever grateful to the fabulous doctors and nurses at CMH!
